Key Contributors To Giants' Playoff Chances

The Giants failed to make the 2024-25 playoffs, finishing last in the NFC East with a 3-14 record. New York is hoping its new quarterback group will be the boost they need to make the playoffs in the new season. NY has spent much of the offseason making changes to both sides of the ball. Offensively, the Giants added to the WR depth chart by g Zach Pascal and Lil'Jordan Humphrey.

Defensively, New York focused on upgrading its secondary and defensive line. If the defense performs like we expect, the Giants have a chance to greatly improve their record from last season and potentially make the playoffs.

With the third overall pick in the NFL draft, the Giants selected EDGE Abdul Carter from Penn State, who is expected to boost the defensive line.

Do the Giants Have a Chance to Make the Playoffs?

As of now, the New York Giants have a chance of making the playoffs since the season has not yet started. Giants Playoff Picture Outlook & Predictions

The New York Giants are looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2022. A lot of roster changes have occurred in the offseason, most importantly at quarterback. New York signed veteran QB Russell Wilson. New York also signed QB Jameis Winston and re-signed QB Tommy Devito, so the Giants' quarterback depth chart is solid. This could be a game-changer for New York.

If New York can stay healthy on both sides of the ball, they have a good chance of improving this season.
