An annual tradition on the NFL calendar begins Thursday night as the NFL Draft kicks off from Kansas City.

All the analysis on who teams should draft for the season will take place over three days and fans will have no problem sharing their on likes and dislikes of team selections.

When it comes to the NFL offseason, however, only the true diehard fans are keeping up with every move that their franchise makes for the next season. So, which fanbases are the most obsessed with their team?

EmpireStakes.com – your source for New York sports betting – utilized Statista's 2022 "Attitudes of NFL Teams" survey of NFL fans with 1,239 respondents to find who currently are the most obsessed fans in the NFL. To do so, we utilized the NFL fanbases who responded in the most positive manner to the following statements:

  • I do not want to imagine my life without my NFL team
  • My NFL Team is part of my day-to-day life

Note: This is just a sample size of NFL fans who claimed to be a fan of an NFL team.

Buffalo Fans Finish No. 2

Even the fans in Buffalo come up just short.

Bills fans finished No. 2 in our survey, behind only the backers of the Chicago Bears.

Twenty-nine percent of Bills fans said they couldn’t live without their favorite team, just 1 percent behind Chicago.

The Bills again are listed as strong contenders in Super Bowl 58 betting odds. After being the consensus preseason favorite last year, the Bills lost to the visiting Cincinnati Bengals, 27-10, in the playoffs, a game short of the AFC title game.

BetMGM New York has lifted Buffalo to second on its odds board for winning the Super Bowl. Buffalo is at +850, behind only the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals, Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers are right behind at +900.

Meanwhile, the state of New York has another team in the top 10 with fans of the New York Giants coming in ninth place.

Jets fans did not finish in the top 10.

One thing you can count on is EmpireStakes.com following all three NFL teams in the state every step of the way, as well as providing NY sportsbook promos.
